How to Get to Kyoto City University of Arts

From Kyoto Station
The bus terminal is on the north side of the station, out of the Karasuma central exit.
Take a Kyoto-Kotsu (Kyoto-Kotsu) bus bound for Kameoka (Kameoka) or Oharano (Nagamine) [Nagamine] at C2 bus stop, and get off at Geidai-mae (approx. 45 minutes), or
take a city bus No. 73 at C5 bus stop, and get off at Kokudo-Kutsukake-guchi or Shinbayashi-ike-koen (approx. 45 minutes).
From Katsura Station of the Hankyu Railway
From Katsura-eki higashi-guchi (Katsura station east exit) bus stop:
Take a Kyoto-Kotsu (Kyoto-Kotsu) bus bound for Kameoka (Kameoka) or Oharano (Nagamine) [Nagamine] and get off at Geidai-mae (approx. 20 minutes).
From Katsura-eki nishi-guchi (Katsura station west exit) bus stop:
Take a city bus Nishi 1 (Nishi 1) or Nishi 8 (Nishi 8) and get off at Shinbayashi-ike-koen (approx. 20 minutes), or
take a city bus Nishi 5 (Nishi 5) and get off at Shinbayashi-ike-koen or Kokudo-Kutsukake-guchi (approx. 20 minutes).
From Shijo Street
Take a local or express train of the Hankyu Railway to Kastura station and then take a bus, or
take a Kyoto-Kotsu (Kyoto-Kotsu) bus bound for Sonobe (Sonobe) (via Gojo-Kawaramachi and Gojo St.) at Shijo-Kawaramachi bus stop and get off at Geidai-mae (approx. 40 minutes), or
take a city bus of No. 29 at Shijo-Karasuma bus stop and get off at Shinbayashi-ike-koen (approx. 50 minutes).
